FAQ

TaeJak Fundraisers – Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

Q: Who can run a TaeJak fundraiser?
A: Any school, daycare, team, club, church, community group, or retirement home can apply to run a TaeJak fundraiser, as long as you’re raising money for a positive cause.

Q: Is there a minimum number of boxes we have to sell?
A: You don’t have to pre-buy or hold inventory, but there will be a practical minimum campaign size (for example, targeting at least a hundred items) to keep shipping and packing efficient and profitable for your group. This is a very low & easy minimum target to make with our box fundraisers.

Q: How do we sign up?
A: Fill out a short online form with your organization details, preferred dates, and which seasonal boxes you’re interested in (Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s Day, Fall, Christmas, etc.). TaeJak will confirm availability and set everything up with you.

Money, Profit, and Pricing

Q: How much can our group earn?
A: Your profit depends on the box mix and total items sold, but each box includes a built-in return so groups can earn meaningful funds from a single campaign, with higher volumes increasing total profit.

Q: Do we have to pay anything upfront?
A: No. Fundraisers are based on pre-orders placed and paid for online, so your group does not purchase or store inventory in advance.

Q: How and when do we receive our profit?
A: After the campaign closes and all orders are processed, TaeJak will send you a clear sales and profit summary and invoice you for the products sold, less the fundraising amounts your group earned. This will be sent via bank transfer to TaeJak Inc.

Ordering and Payments

Q: How do supporters place orders?
A: Your group receives a unique online ordering link. Supporters click the link or scan a QR code, choose their boxes, and pay securely online—no paper forms or cash handling needed.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: Supporters can pay using common online methods such as credit cards, debit cards and other secure electronic payments such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Q: Can friends and family outside our area order too?
A: Yes. The shipping costs are already included in the purchase price for each box. If you prefer to make the boxes a bit cheaper, you can sell them locally and we can do a group shipping directly to your organization for your volunteers to hand out on a scheduled day.

Campaign Timing and Length

Q: How long should we run our fundraiser?
A: Most groups run their campaign for about 1 to 2 weeks to give families time to share but still keep momentum high.

Q: How far before an occasion (like Valentine’s or Christmas) do we need to finish?
A: A pre-planned campaign typically closes at least 6 weeks before the holiday to allow time for ordering, packing, and shipping so boxes arrive in plenty of time for gifting. I do have some inventory for last minute fundraisers but it is limited. These fundraisers should be completed 10 days before the occasion to ensure enough time for UPS to receive the items and deliver them before the big day.

Shipping, Delivery, and Distribution

Q: How are orders delivered?
A: Orders are packed in a way that makes shipping most compact and cost efficient. Gift boxes are already put together but some items, like Rose Bear Boxes, have to be assembled. These take up a lot of space and would have to charge way too much to make up for this cost. The process is still simple and quick and maximizes fundraising profits by shipping in this way.

Q: Do you offer direct-to-home shipping?
A: Yes. The shipping costs are already included in the purchase price for each box. If you prefer to make the boxes a bit cheaper, you can sell them locally and we can do a group shipping directly to your organization for your volunteers to hand out on a scheduled day.

Q: How long does delivery take after we submit our final order?
A: Typical timelines range vary from 6 weeks after final order submission, depending on the season and shipping method, order amount, and are confirmed when your dates are booked. Last minute fundraisers for inventory on hand need to be completed 10 days before the special occassion.

Products and Quality

Q: What comes in a TaeJak fundraiser box?
A: Each box is built around an occasion (such as Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s Day, Back-to-School, Fall/Halloween–Thanksgiving, or Christmas) and includes a curated mix of ready-to-gift items chosen to be both joyful and practical. We try to include a non-holiday themed box that can be given for any occasion and plan to expand the number box choices in the future.

Q: Are the boxes the same every year?
A: Items and themes will be refreshed regularly so returning groups and repeat supporters always have something new and exciting to look forward to.

Q: Can supporters see what’s inside before they order?
A: Yes. Each box has photos and a description online so supporters know the type of items and overall value they are receiving, even if some details are curated surprises.

Regions and Eligibility

Q: Where do you currently offer fundraisers?
A: We are currently focused on U.S. organizations.

Q: Do you work with both public and private organizations?
A: Yes. Public schools, private schools, daycares, clubs, teams, churches, senior centers, and other community groups are welcome to apply.

Support and Logistics

Q: How much work is this for our volunteers?
A: TaeJak handles online ordering, payment collection, and centralized packing so your volunteers can focus on sharing the link, promoting the fundraiser, and if bulk shipping is preferred, then managing an organized pickup day which we recommend 3 to 5 volunteers for. Bulk shipping means we can charge less for the gift boxes OR you can earn more and keep the price the same.

Q: Do you provide promo materials?
A: Yes. You’ll receive digital materials such as email templates, poster content, and social media captions to help spread the word quickly and consistently.

Q: What if we have questions during our campaign?
A: Your group will have a clear contact email and/or phone number and will receive responses within a defined time window (for example, within one business day) so you’re never left guessing.
